For the over eighteen student, Spanish Works, Inc. offers wine tasting and visits to wineries in the local area. In Valencia, Spain the visits will be to the “world of Valencian wine and its new wine-growing areas.” There is a special rate for a group of ten students who would like to study both Spanish and the wine industry in Valencia. Cooking classes in Valencia, famous for its paella, are also offered either separately or along with the wine-tasting courses. If you prefer, the Aranda del Duero location, Spanish Works can arrange wine-tasting and cooking classes in that area of Spain.

Special Spanish course & wine tasting in Aranda de Duero, Spain

2 weeks of Spanish courses (15 hours/week) either elementary, intermediate and advanced levels.

Afternoon activities:
a visit of the city
An introduction to the 'Cata de Vino" (wine-tasting)
An excursion to the Bodegas (wine cellar) that produce the wines.
Trips to different places of interest within the region, Burgos, Santo Domingo de Silos, Roa, Clunia, Peñaranda, Segovia.
Meet with vine-growers
A visit to the wine museum in Peñafiel.

Flamenco dancing, Salsa and Tango

Dance classes are offered to students in Spain and Latin America. These classes are usually offered as cultural classes and are included in your fee.
